LITTLETON GROUP COACHES

Littleton Lead Coach - Susan Babcock

Susan began running on a dirt track in rural Kansas where she held the high school record in the mile and two mile.  Susan moved to Colorado and ran her first Bolder Boulder.  She ran off and on for several years as a recreational runner including several more Bolder Boulder races.  Susan became the first member of the Revolution Running Littleton training group.  The concept of training to run better took hold.  With consistency, focus, group training, and a Revolution Running coach, Susan started to move up her age group placement in races.
In 2015, she became a Colorado Runner of the Year by winning a race series for her age group.  Since 2016 she has been a member of the Runner’s Roost Race Team and regularly places in her age group at local races.

With her own found success, Susan started coaching.  She has certifications in the following:

USATF Level 1 Coaching
Arthur Lydiard Coaching Levels I and II
CHSAA Registered Permanent Coach
CPR/First Aid
NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching
NFHS Concussions in Sports.

If you want to improve your running and have fun with the journey to better health and fitness, Susan is the coach for you.

Dan Spale

I started running at the age of 25, the afternoon after the NYC Marathon when Alberto Salazar, running his first ever, won.  So I figured I could also, well no wins but I’ve enjoyed the journey.

Running changed my life in a very positive way taking the place of some unhealthy habits. I come up short on a resume but my strengths lie in passion and competitiveness in the sport. Even at my ripe ole’ age I still think I can hit a PR in some distances. Hmm only time will tell but I will try.

So being part of a great organization such as Revolution Running affords me the chance to get to know more people who want more out there running and hopefully in some way I can contribute to their success.

Amy Lease

Amy is originally from Western Nebraska. She participated in county track meets in grade school(3 legged sack race anyone??)
In High School, Amy was fortunate to have a Music teacher that was a distance runner and started a track program for High School women.  She ran 4 years in High School, in the 50 yd dash, 50 yd hurdles, 220 yd dash and 880 relay.  In 1971, Amy participated in the first Nebraska High School Girls State Track Meet and won a gold medal in the 880 relay.

Amy ran in AAU meets early in her college career and then participated in the hot new movements of the late 70's:  Aerobics!
In 1983, to take some of the stress off of graduate school, Amy started running again in Lincoln, NE.  She ran her first marathon in May 1985 and immediately swore off of marathons ever again. She went back to the Lincoln Marathon in 1990 and ran a better race!
Amy moved to Cheyenne WY that year and continued to run in local races up to 1/2 marathon and was very competitive in the community.  She started running the BolderBoulder 10K that year and has competed in that 10k 29 times.

Amy started running with Revolution Running in 2012 which helped her become an AG winner in Front Range races.  She began coaching the Revolution Running Beginner program in 2014 and has also coached Hard Core Burn,
2016 was Amy's first Boston Marathon and she hopes to compete there again in the near future.

Sebastian Presinger

Having been a runner for most of my adult life, I started competing back in 2001. My favorite distance is the marathon. Running and competing in races is not only an individual sport for me, I like to share my experience with other runners and have fun running with a big group of runners.
