WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT US
"With the help of Running Revolution, I met my goal at Grandmas marathon this past weekend coming in 5 minutes under the BQ time for my age." - Mindy Justice, Erie
"Thanks for putting together such an awesome program! Tough conditions at Boston today but was still able to pull out a solid 3:28 which I'm super happy about. Also, the hill work works. I didn't notice 2 of the 4 Newton hills and absolutely powered past runners around me on Heartbreak! I absolutely love the Rev Run program and family!"
- Ashley Arigoni, Denver
"If you ever run into someone worried that they were too old or too fat to get running, I’d love to talk to them. I was almost 62 when I started and I was overweight. The main thing running did was release me from stereotype of being old and fill me with confidence. I kicked depression on its ass! So, if anyone ever needs a jumpstart, I’d love to have coffee (and a big piece of pie!) with them and tell them the benefits of group running."
- Margie Schlaufman, Boulder
"Since joining in March. I've PRed in every race I've run since May (two 5Ks, a 10K, two half marathons and my debut marathon). I wouldn't have done any of that without RR and I am so grateful. So very grateful! Thanks for your leadership."
- Jen DeHerrera, Littleton
"I ran a 4:08 without even trying. Honestly I felt awesome for first 24 miles. Wanted to thank you both for all the support and guidance. I haven't run any marathons below 4:24 since 2013!!"
- Emily Thompson, Boulder
"I am so blessed to have found you guys and RevRun to rejuvenate my passion for running and preparing me for Sunday's long run. You are both very special and make an impact to so many people. "
- Walter Smith, Boulder
"You guys are studs. Not just because you run marathons, but because you run a terrific club. When I joined Rev back in October, I just wanted to add a little structure to my fitness routine. I knew there would be hard workouts and maybe some good races. But what really surprised me was how much I'd enjoy the group itself. The people are diverse, good-natured and fun-loving. And you guys set the tone. It comes from the top."
- Marcey Cote, Boulder
"I found the training exceptional and encouraging. I never felt intimidated and I couldn't wait to come to the group runs and see all my new running friends. The workouts never felt unrealistic and I could feel my fitness improving. In fact, I recently ran a 1/2 marathon in Vancouver and finished 32 minutes faster than I had anticipated! Thanks for a wonderful program. I feel like it's changed my life!"
- Heidi Forsyth, Boulder
"I can’t say enough about how GREAT Rev Run has been for me! I feel so ready to run this race thanks to the support of You, Heather, Steve Sellars, and my running buddies. At 55yrs old, I feel fitter than I ever have been. THANK YOU!!" - R.B.
"Because of your training group, I won first place of my age group, 5 times this year." - M.M.
"Revolution Running is the best thing that has happened to my life. Encouraging and knowledgable coaches, great friendships ready made in the group, and my running has finally taken off. Thank you to Ewen and Heather for everything they do. If you haven't tried out Revolution Running, you won't find better." - C.L.
"So proud, and very happy with this result. I finished the race in 54:55, 3rd place AG, a PR of 1m 28s. Thanks for a great spring training, I will continue with RR through the summer. You guys rock!" - G.B.
"I would of never dreamed of doing anything like this (first Triathlon) without Kevin Weed and Tyler Haughness leadership and encouragement. They are amazing coaches"
- B.L.
"Thanks so much - your beginning program works. I could barely run the 1st session and yesterday I finished the 5k - ran the whole way a little faster than I expected and felt great after. Thanks again."
- J.L
"Wanted to let you know that I ran the Frozen Stampede at a 10:39 mile and today ran the Running of the Green at 9:48pace--which means this is working and I'm only 5 weeks in."
- J.M.
"Thank you!!! Thank you for such an amazing race! I want to thank all of you for getting me so strong and so fit. And for all your support, encouragement and wonderful advice. I have never felt so good in a running race before, and with an awesome PR as well:) I feel the strongest and most fit I have ever had in my life, thanks to RR!! (this morning, I looked up my previous running records, and to my surprise, I did run the boulder backroads half marathon on Sept. 25, 2005 with a PR of 2:25) So, my race on Saturday, was just amazing to me!! RR is just the best!" - E.L.
"Six years ago I decided to join a run club (now called Revolution Running) and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Long lasting friendships, encouraging and knowledgeable coaches, consistent PRs, and amazing owners, Heather and Ewen North make this club the best. Looking forward to another great year!" - T.B.
"With the help of Revolution Running I have been able to fulfill my life long dream of becoming a real runner. When I joined RevolutionRunning I was an out of shape, inexperienced "jogger". I had been jogging on my own for several years and had no idea what I was doing or what running could do for me. After one season with the group I took my half marathon time from 2:45 to 2:25 and after my second season with the group my time was down to 1:56 and I completed my first marathon in 4:04! The group has given me the structure and coaching I needed to grow into a successful runner. I look forward to each group session because I know I will be coached to push myself beyond where I would on my own and as a result I will become a stronger and faster runner. I am in my 3rd season with the group and am looking forward to seeing how much time I can shave off my marathon time this October. I can't imagine not training with this group, this has been the best investment I have ever made and I look froward to many more seasons! - S.P.I love the group and have nothing but great things to say I am so grateful i found the group as i truly feel like it has shaped the person i have become, the skills i have developed with the group i have transferred into other areas of my life and i have seen great success in my career and personal life which i link back to running and Revolution Running. I have found an activity I love and I never thought that activity would be running."
"I have never had a bad coaching experience, I have enjoyed and learned from all of the coaches i have worked with. Each coach is different and has a different style, that's why i love that i run with a different coach at each workout, in the course of a week i get 3 people helping me and i get different tips from each of them it's a great blend. Every coach remembers me and seems truly invested in my success." - W.A. (Update!: W.A. just completed the Chicago Marathon in 3:50 and will be moving on to Phoenix to try to better that!)
"I am so impressed with the creativity and enthusiasm Ewen and Heather bring to Revolution Running." - G.L.
"Revolution is my fountain of youth. For all senior runners/novice runners, if you don't think you can run a 10K/Half Marathon, look no further than the fabulous Revolution Running programs to get you there. With the expert BR coaching, I've moved from sendentary mode to a sprint through life mode! Thank you kindly to BR!!!! Bolder Boulder/Half Marathons, here I come!" - A.F.
"I this is probably the most fun I've had in the group." - R.D.
"I was never a runner.
Every so often I would try to start running but would always give up after a few weeks. When I joined Revolution Running I was amazed at the difference in my workouts and even more in how I felt about running. It's hard, but now it's also fun. Since I joined I have been running more often and further distances than I ever thought possible. The coaches are great and provide individual feedback no matter how beginner or advanced you are. The fellow runners provide an amazing base of morale support and friendship. Revolution Running has made me a runner!" - J.D.
"I have nothing but very positive things to say about Revolution Running.
The training program and coaching staff are enthusiastic and practice what they preach - running." - L.K.
"I love the group dynamics and the real people that are in these groups!
It seems sometimes that in Boulder, you are always over faced by the massively competitive people who are amazing and all, but at times intimidating. I love the normal people in Revolution Running! Even the amazing trainers seem more real and more willing to connect with anyone!" - G.B.
"Revolution Running has helped me make real strides in improving my fitness and overall health. Everyone is so encouraging and inclusive - anyone can participate and benefit, from beginners like me who just want to stay in shape, to veteran runners who want strong training partners. I look forward to our group workouts." - L.E.
"Terry and his wife are about the nicest people a person can know.
They picked great trails and we're super supportive. Even though I've lived here for seven years, it was like seeing Boulder for the first time. Connecting with other runners makes it much easier to stay fit." - E.C.
"I love having you and the coaches there. I learn something every practice. You are always in my head. Your tips and techniques are awesome. I hope one of these days my body learns. Thanks for everything." - B.S.
"I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thanks! You are always encouraging and I never feel snubbed by the faster folks on the team. I appreciate the constant support of you, the coaches and our group. I didn't have a great race on Saturday, but the team support made it a memorable and fun finish. If anyone is ever tentative to join the group cause they aren't fast enough or don't feel in shape enough, have them call me."
- A.J.
"And thanks for all the awesome coaching, from you and your outstanding coaching staff (Heather, Jenni & Jeff, Kevin, Pete, Tyler). I was just reassessing my performance from this last Lake2Lake triathlon and I was thrilled with how good I felt and my times. Goes to show what you can achieve with steady/consistent workouts!! My swim in the 1500 improved by one minute over last year's Olympic tri swim - according to my watch, which was about 28:17. If you look at chip time, that 30:30 includes a 200-400 meter "dash" to the transition zone and the timing mat. I felt good on the bike but never rode that course before. Then, my run was also greatly improved over last year's 10K in a tri (by 1-2mins.), which (this year) included taking the time to walk briefly thru the hydration zones, and one potty stop - all in 54:33. So I'm way psyched and looking forward to bigger events and better performances." - J.M.
"And I just want you to know that you (Jenni) and Kevin (along with whole Revolution Multisport coaching crew) did an outstanding job of preparing us for this event (Boulder 70.3 2012). We had really great races! " - J.M.
"Thank you all so much for getting me so strong, encouraging my love of running ( including my extra weekly runs (doubles some days) and workouts), as well as putting up with me during times when I need a little extra TLC from my coach:)
Running makes everything better! RR is simply the best and I am so glad to be a part of this amazing family!" - E.L.
"My six year anniversary with BBTC / BOLD Running / Revolution Running.
47 races (according to Athlinks), including 2 Marathons & 6 Half-Marathons, and trips to Phoenix (2x), Austin, New York and Victoria. But best of all, about 100 new friends! Special thanks to my coaches along the way, especially: Pete, Jenni, Jeff, Chad, and Trent, and to Ewen & Heather for keeping this great group going strong. I just wanted to thank you both for having Revolution Running and for inspiring me to run." - J.R.
"I never imagined two years ago when I joining BoldRunning that I would have run (and enjoyed!) my first marathon. So much of that accomplishment comes from your amazing dedication to us as runners - from the training schedules to the "fun" workouts and the caring emails. One thing I know for sure...because of you I have become a lifelong, dedicated runner and it is in large part due to you and Revolution Running." - E.H.
"Thanks so much for your coaching over these months. I am so excited about my result yesterday, I still cannot believe it. I wanted to come in under 60 minutes, but to take 3.5 minutes off that time was completely unexpected. This was seconds off a PR for me from back in 2005, so I am just elated. I felt like I put into use everything i've been learning from you guys: arms down, learning to recover from hills, endurance, pacing." - T.R.
"I am so happy with the results of my training this year. Your coaching and the program has done amazing things for my running. You guys are the best." -J.L.
"As we get closer to the end of the training things will get hectic, so I just wanted to thank you ahead of time for allowing me to participate by using my credit from last year. Your very generous gesture has resulted in me losing 16 pounds, running on a pace that will beat my best time ever, and meeting a host of fun and interesting people. You and Heather did a great job of filling in when Tyler or Matt were not available and the four of you have been unconditionally positive and supportive throughout the process. I will definately be continuing with some kind of running group even after the race is over and I will be recommending this program to everyone." - R.M.
"Bold enough to get you through all the lumps, bumps and training humps." - J.K.
"Years ago, I ran though not very competitively. Injuries from team sports, 20 lbs of excess weight, and a busy life had me thinking I didn't have the time or body to start running again. But then my girlfriend joined the Revolution Running multisport program and drug me out to a few weeks of running group. I was welcomed by a friendly group, with a good sized group of people running at my pace, and great coaching on the point of the given workout and my running form. I quickly got hooked on the group as motivation to get out of the office to run. Coming 'off the couch' so to speak, some of my old injuries flared up a couple months into my training. Without Heather's expert advice and encouragement, I think that would have been the end of my running. She helped me take the right amount of time off and get back to running when my body was ready. 4 months later, I ran my first half-marathon 10 lbs lighter and 15 minutes faster than my goal at the beginning of the season! I would NEVER have made it here jogging on my own. I owe a HUGE part of my success to my Revolution Running coaches Heather North and Jenni Keil. Thanks Heather and Jenni!" - K.H.
(Update!: K.H. just PR'd AGAIN in Moab at the Canyonlands Half Marathon with a 1:41 with 30mph headwinds and battling sickness. Another Update!: K.H. just PR'd AGAIN in Pueblo with a 1:28 for the half marathon distance.)
"I LOVE this group. Seriously, picking up running (through your group) has been one the best things I've ever done in my life." - K.S.
"Thanks for putting together such an awesome program! Tough conditions at Boston today but was still able to pull out a solid 3:28 which I'm super happy about. Also, the hill work works.
