He is a self-coached marathoner and two-time World Championship Team member who was recently 8th at the Boston Marathon in a time of 2:11. Jeffrey attributes his improvement to a full-time commitment to running and adopting a dynamic approach to training; he continues to explore and apply new methodologies to his running to maximize performance. He has enjoyed sharing his findings as a contributor to both Runner's World and Running Times Magazines. In joining Revolution Running he looks forward to guiding others towards their running goals.

"Boulder has been the perfect town to continue my journey, and I am looking forward to helping others in our community enjoy the sport and reach their potential."

Chris Grauch:
M.U.T. (Mountain, Ultra and Trail)

Picture
For the past 20+ years Chris has been running the mountains and roads of Boulder and the greater Colorado area (and anywhere else he might travel). Since 2004 he has competed in a full spectrum of races. From high altitude 100 milers to 1 mile road races. His true passion however has always been about running in the mountains and so the majority of his experience is in the mountain/trail/ultra arena. He is the 2014 US Skyrunning Sky series champion.

Chris approaches coaching in a systematic individualized way. He aims to look at the many different attributes of his athletes and find ways to utilize their strengths and shore up their weaknesses. Building on the foundations of endurance, strength, and speed are some of his primary goals with coaching. He is skilled at utilizing the mountains and trails as a way to increase fitness and simulate race conditions. He thrives on a goal oriented approach, whether that goal is finishing your first long hill climb or ultra, or finding that extra special something in your training to put you on the podium.
