He has competed for the United States seven times, earning an individual Silver medal in the World Long Distance Mountain Running Championships in 2015, which took place in Zermatt, Switzerland. He has been part of two gold medal teams, and his highest goal is to continue to support the country and community on the international stage.
Andy started coaching for Revolution Running in 2015 to help give back to the Boulder running community. He enjoys supporting, encouraging and sharing his experiences, as well as hearing other's stories.

Maggie Callahan

Picture
Maggie grew up in Fairbanks, AK, where she was a mulit-time state champion on the track. She  attended the University of Arizona (to make up for her lack of sun in her childhood), to run track and cross country. The highlight of her college career was being the 2011 Pac 10 Steeplechase Champion. She moved to Boulder last spring to continue training and competing professionally, with the team Hudson Training Systems, coached by Brad Hudson. One of the best happiest moments of her running career was winning her weight in beer at the July 4th 4k at Avery's Brewing company.

Michael Morrison

Picture
I graduated from the University of Colorado with my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and have extensive experience treating runners of all abilities in my clinic, Red hammer Rehab, alongside Heather North.
I started running cross country as a senior in high school to meet the requirements for my soccer team. I
invested more heavily in running while in grad school, when I had my first stint working with Revolution Running (then the Bolder Boulder Training Club). I coached for 2 Bolder Boulder 10K’s, always making sure to demonstrate how to hit the slip n’ slide while keeping the target race time. ;) Running is all about
having fun for me, and you will see that in my coaching style. Don’t worry, goals are also important to me too! After moving to Florida in 2008, I quickly began
connecting with local running groups and started coaching, while also pursuing my own running goals. I personally enjoy 10K and half marathon distances. That said, I have coached everyone from Couch to 5k runners, who just want to cover 3.1 miles for the first time in their lives, to a podium finisher at the Keys
50. I am a people person who just loves to make new acquaintances and educate and empower others to reach whatever the next step is in their life journey. Perhaps my favorite thing about being part of the running community is this: more than any other community that I have ever been a part of, I believe we runners, no matter how experienced, just enjoy seeing a new person get out and get moving, and we are always happy to join them. So whether you want that 26.2 PR or you have no idea what I just referred to, I can’t wait to work with you to see what you achieve next!

Jayson Swiggart

Picture
Running has been a large part of my life since I was 14 when I laced up racing shoes for the first time, undertrained an overconfident I led a XC race for 2.99 miles only to be out kicked in the last 5 meters. From that day forward I swore I would never be undertrained again.
In 2006 I moved to Boulder CO to give it one more go at running, I joined the Boulder Distance Project under Steve Jones’ tutelage, and ran PR’s in all road/trail distances. Learned from a legend and made friends that will be with me for the rest of my life. In Boulder I not only found the most beautiful place to live but the perfect career for my personality, skill set and values, in working for the City of Boulder Parks and Recreation Department.

I coached for Revolution Running from 2007 to 2010 primarily with the run the whole way and finish group. I met wonderful runners whom I still stayed friends with during my hiatus from coaching and running. And now have the wonderful opportunity to coach again with Revolution Running where I can sweat, hurt and sometimes bleed with fabulous runners.

Steve Sellars

Picture
Steve moved to Boulder in 1982.  He is a professional Land Surveyor and owner of Flagstaff Surveying which he started in 1992.  He is married to Jill Sellars and together they have two children and two step children.

Growing up on Cape Cod, Steve started running in the 1970’s, participating in cross country and high school track. He spent the majority of his 20’s and 30’s as a martial arts student and instructor and merely “dabbled” in running for fun and fitness.

At the age of 41, Steve herniated  his L4/L5 disk and believed he may never be able to run competitively again. Instead, he overcame the odds and became much more serious about running, consistently logging 70 mile weeks.  He has had Benji Durden (1980 Olympic team member in marathon) as a training partner for over ten years.

Steve is still learning new things about running every day and is looking forward to sharing his knowledge and helping others attain their goals.

Jill Sellars

Picture
Jill is a Boulder native and works as the Care Coordinator for The Boulder Longevity Institute, helping clients achieve optimal wellness throughout the life span.   She is happily married to Steven Sellars and together, they have two children and two step children.

Jill did not begin running until her late 30’s.  When she began she thought running had to be hard all the time.  With experience and mentorship from her husband/coach Steve, she learned that there is a time to run hard and other times to just enjoy the scenery.  Jill loves to train and race and has competed in nearly every distance from 400 meters to the marathon.  Her favorite event is cross country!

Jill understands the challenges of taking up running later in life and hopes to help others make a transition into a more healthy and active lifestyle. With a recent change of employers Jill now has more time to commit to training and is looking forward to growing as a coach.  One of Jill’s greatest pleasures is to help new runners stay upbeat and on track despite minor setbacks or occasional bad training days.

Steve Dunbar

Picture
Steve raced bicycles at CU-Boulder in the late 80's and continued amateur racing into the mid-90's. After a hiatus to have two kids, Steve started running regularly in 2002 and has been ever since.  In 2009 he began competing in triathlon, and with great coaching and all the resources Boulder has to offer, he qualified for the ITU Age Group World Championships in 2012 (Auckland).  With new lifetime PRs in all three sports in 2014, he will be representing the USA again in 2015 at ITU World Championships, held in Chicago. Steve's philosophy is to keep training consistent yet dynamic, continuously trying new things and ideas seeking those "secret weapons" that make a break through happen, and taking a long term view by using the seasons to ones advantage.

Professionally, Steve is an Electrical Engineer working for Texas Instruments, and is also pursuing a PhD in Electromagnetics at CU-Boulder.

Morgan Stumb

Picture
Morgan is a Boulder native and has been running since the age of 7.  She found her passion for the sport in high school, while running the Indian Peaks wilderness over the summers.  She is adamant about finding the joy in running, whether that is being competitive, enjoying the outdoors, the solitude, or being in the company of others. Morgan believes that there is always time to fit exercise into a busy schedule, and hopes to help others do the same.

DENVER GROUP COACHES

Amy Duba - Lead Denver Coach

Picture
I am from the great plains of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I attended the University of South Dakota where I ran track for three years and played soccer for three years. Although running is something I enjoy now, it hasn't always been my passion. Growing up, I spent most of my time on the soccer field.
My recent enjoyment for running comes from running with friends on the varying terrains Colorado has to offer but more specifically on the trails. I have dabbled in a couple of 50k races that have kept my appetite for trail running ever increasing.
I eat ice cream almost every day and I eat it year round.

Favorite races thus far are in order of the most scenic: Silver Falls 50k, North Face 50k, Mickelson Trail 1/2 marathon

Bucket List: Races: Golden Leaf Half in Aspen
Adventures/Hikes: Zion Traverse, Wonderland Trail, Colorado Trail
Fun fact: I am unable to cross my eyes.

Rachel Dehner

Picture
Rachel Dehner has been coaching for Revolution Running since 2004. She began running in junior high school and hasn’t stopped since.  She has raced everything from5K’s to 50K’s, as well as the Mt. Evans and Pikes Peak Ascents.  She is now discovering a love oftrail running and is looking forward to new off-road adventures.  Personal bests include:  19:49 inthe 5K, 1:29 in the half marathon and 3:34 in the marathon.  She has qualified for Boston 5 timesand ran it for the first time in 2011; definitely one of her most memorable running experiences!  She began dabbling in snowshoe racing in the winter of 2010, finding a sport that makes runningseem relatively easy!

She believes that while training must be hard work at times, the joy and pleasure that come fromrunning should always be the first priority.  The sense of health and well-being that come fromstaying active is something she believes affects all aspects of a person’s life.  She also believes thatcross-training is key and keeps active herself by mountain and road biking, hiking, snow-shoeing,and yoga.  She is truly passionate about running and loves sharing that with everyone she coaches.

Laura Tremblay

Picture
Laura Tremblay has been coaching with Revolution Running since 2013. She grew up in Loveland, CO and has been living and running in Boulder for 5 years.  Laura trained at CU- Boulder for 3 years and competed in cross country and track races during her time on the team. She was an NCAA, Division 1 All-American in cross country and competed at the 2009 IAAF World Cross Country Championships while at CU.

After graduating with a degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering, Laura started working at a Medical Device company called Terumo BCT in Lakewood, CO. She helped coach her high school running team shortly after graduating and discovered her interest in developing young runners and helping them achieve the next step in their fitness.

Competitive running was a very large part of her life for 8+ years and she now runs for fun. She enjoys sharing her own competitive running experiences with athletes from the Boulder area and loves helping them reach their training goals. Laura realizes that all runners are different and each person deserves a personalized approach to their training. Her coaching style is all about enjoyment in the sport and preventing injuries so that the sport never runs you, you run the sport.

Leif Sunde

Picture
From Beer miles to Ultramarathons Leif just loves to run. After running track and cross country in H.S. Leif went off to run in college at Western State but was taken out of school by a car accident. Despite his doctors’ wishes, he used running as a tool to help him through the recovery process and hasn’t stopped running since.
Beyond dabbling in local 10k’s Leif’s running has taken him to a top-10 finish in his first venture into the ultrarunning world with a 50k in 2013. From pub-runs to track intervals, Leif is simply passionate about sharing his love of running with other athletes- and that is what brought him to Revolution Running. Through mutual friends and acquaintances in the running bubble of Boulder, Leif and Ewen crossed paths and saw that it was a good fit for the lead coach position in Denver.
Needless to say, if you are shy about increasing your mileage and need some guidance or encouragement, he is a good place to start.

Rachel Cook

Picture
Hi!! I'm Matt Nolen and I really, really like to run. I started running sometime when I was in middle school and carried on all the way to today. However, I did not start training seriously and following a solid training plan until 2005 but since that time I have been going full speed ahead ever since. Other than running fast, my goals are to remain as healthy and injury free as possible and to help other find a joy and love to running similar to mine. Outside of running I enjoy several outdoor sports; including, skiing, whitewater kayaking, and rock climbing. I also like sitting on the porch in the morning and drinking a good coffee.

Deb Cunningham

Picture
Running is my absolute favorite sport. I’ve been doing it forever – roads with Rev Run and Rocky Mountain Road Runners, trails with the Denver Trail Runners, and coaching with Revolution Running and Fast Forward. This is a sport you can do for a lifetime and you meet the best people while running.

Areas of Coaching Interest:
Beginner Runners – Rev Run 11 minute pace group.
Runners who want to improve performance

Experience as a Coach:
Coaching with Revolution Running since 2014

Experience as an Athlete:
39 years of running experience. Been running year round since my freshman year of high school. I have run 16 marathons, two 50ks and 100's of races from 2 mile to half marathon.  I run a lot around Denver and often place in my age group.
Now that I have Osteopenia, I’ve had more than my share of stress fractures. I have experience coming back from injury and can help you if you’re in that situation.

Sara Whatmore

Picture
I am originally from North Carolina, but moved to Denver in 2008 to enjoy the beautiful mountains and strong endurance-sport community. I have a Level 1 USATF coaching certification as well as Level 1 and 2 RRCA coaching certifications. Running has been a passion of mine since my junior high track days. Since then, I have raced a variety of distances including half marathons, full marathons, 50Ks, and even an Ironman. I most enjoy loading up my backpack and hitting the trails for long runs.

Brian Hansen

Picture
I am originally from Wisconsin.  I started running when I was in middle school, when I would join my dad for an occasional loop around the neighborhood; more just to spend some time with him, nothing really serious.  In high school, one of my teachers offered extra credit to try out for the cross country team because they were having trouble fielding a full squad.  I joined and found a team full of awesome nerds and weird traditions and have been a runner ever since.  I've run every distance from 400M to marathons, road races and trail races, and even had a few years as a triathlete.  I moved to Colorado in 2005 and worked at the Runners Roost a bit while I was in school, picking the brains of some great runners and coaches.  I started coaching with Revolution Running in 2007, and over the years have loved working with runners of every experience level and with all varieties of goals.  My biggest goal as a coach is to help runners learn to see running as a lifestyle, and more than just training for a race.  I love Revolution Running because it has a great core of supportive coaches and fellow runners who help keep you motivated year-round.

Fun fact: I am at least 6 inches taller than everyone else in my family.  I sprouted 5 inches in middle school, making me 6' 2" and about as coordinated as a baby giraffe.  Thankfully, baby giraffes can run within a few hours of being born.... but they are terrible at soccer.

ERIE GROUP COACHES

Jen Voigt

Picture
Jen has had a passion for running since high school, running recreational races of varying distances throughout her adult life.  Some of her most challenging races include Boston, Pikes Peak Marathon and Pikes Peak Ascent.
After marrying her husband and 3 children later, Jen developed an interest in Triathlon to compliment her running and add a new challenge to her sport. Triathlons of many different distances and challenges led Jen to her biggest accomplishment, completing Ironman Coeur D'Alene in 2014.
Jen has coached runners, previously through Fast Forward Sports in Boulder, off and on for the past 8 years.  Some of her training includes Personal Trainer Certification, ACSM, Certified Triathlon Coach, USAT and various ongoing trainings related to health and fitness.

Mandi St Onge

Picture
Mandi has been running since middle school, venturing onto high school where she developed her passion for XC. She went onto a private university but continued to train with the universities club team.

During her first career she continued to run and train under the Ann Arbor Track Club. Completing several marathons, halfs, and trail relays. During her mid 20 something life crisis she went back to school pursuing a teaching career. During this time she worked at a running store where she began coaching beginning runners, a coach for the sub 8 group for Running Fit 501 group, and found here true art and passion for Ultra Marathons. She also developed a running group and training program for the kids at the Elementary School she taught at. Inspiring others to find joy in running and healthy lifestyles helped her to pursue her own running joy. She became a member of the RUT/Ultra Marathon Racing team for Ann Arbor and set 3 course records.

2 time Windy City Sports athlete of the year encouraged her to inspire others to stay fit and healthy. She became ASAM and RRCA certified.

Mandi then turned her passion for the sport into a change of career. Working for PUMA NA she was immersed deeper into the running world. Taping into yet again her strengths she was coached by PUMA elite athlete Jaque Salesburg. She is a 5 time Boston qualifier and finisher, 2 time NY marathon qualifier, 2 time Western States qualifier, and 2nd place Umstead 100 miler finisher.

Her love for the trail and passion for the distance carries her through her day to day. "My feet take me to many places I have never been or dreamt to be." "I am grateful what they allow me to experience and hope to inspire the same joy for others."

She continues to work in the Outdoor industry and is a Montrail Racing Team Athlete. If you don't find Mandi on the trail (possible when she's running all day) you will find her hiking with her husband Brian and son Gavin. The two joys of her life and number one cheerleaders.

Dan Spale

Picture
I started running at the age of 25, the afternoon after the NYC Marathon when Alberto Salazar, running his first ever, won.  So I figured I could also, well no wins but I’ve enjoyed the journey.

Running changed my life in a very positive way taking the place of some unhealthy habits. I come up short on a resume but my strengths lie in passion and competitiveness in the sport. Even at my ripe ole’ age I still think I can hit a PR in some distances. Hmm only time will tell but I will try.

So being part of a great organization such as Revolution Running affords me the chance to get to know more people who want more out there running and hopefully in some way I can contribute to their success.

Amy Lease

Picture
Amy is originally from Western Nebraska. She participated in county track meets in grade school(3 legged sack race anyone??)
In High School, Amy was fortunate to have a Music teacher that was a distance runner and started a track program for High School women.  She ran 4 years in High School, in the 50 yd dash, 50 yd hurdles, 220 yd dash and 880 relay.  In 1971, Amy participated in the first Nebraska High School Girls State Track Meet and won a gold medal in the 880 relay.

In 1983, to take some of the stress off of graduate school, Amy started running again in Lincoln, NE.  She ran her first marathon in May 1985 and immediately swore off of marathons ever again. She went back to the Lincoln Marathon in 1990 and ran a better race!
Amy moved to Cheyenne WY that year and continued to run in local races up to 1/2 marathon and was very competitive in the community.  She started running the BolderBoulder 10K that year and has competed in that 10k 29 times.

LONGMONT GROUP COACHES

Michael Morrison - Longmont Lead Coach

Becky Lynn

Picture
A graduate from the University of Georgia, Becky moved to Colorado to pursue a career that balanced he love of athletics and the outdoors. Her running philosophy consists of challenging yourself all while having fun. She currently alternates between local road races and ultra runs on the weekends. Running has shown her how to find motivation within herself and has reinforced the aspects of life that mean the most to her such as setting high standards, being responsible for your actions, and challenging yourself to be the best I can be.  She hopes that she can help others find this same passion on their unique running journey.
In her work life, she is an Account Executive with Modcraft, a Brands communications agency representing clients in the healthy and active lifestyle space. She also works part time at Shoes and Brews, a specialty retail running store and brewery in Longmont. Any extra time she has working, she is repping for Picky Bars, a nutrition bar based out of Bend.

She began running to stay in shape for soccer in middle school and fell in love. She joined the Atlanta Track Club and the Athens Road Runners and raced on the Athens Fleet Feet Competitive Racing Team by participating in local 5ks, 10ks, and halfs. At 19 she completed her first marathon in Atlanta and fell in love with the longer distances. She has now completed at least seven marathons with a PR at Boston of 2:58 and 4 ultras, the longest being the Silverrush 50 miler in Leadville. She participated in the Rev Running 2016 Spring session and loved every minute of it getting fit, which ultimately led to her marathon PR. Becky can't wait to see what the LOCO crew can do!

Thirteen marathons done (might have missed one or two....memory fades, have to go through tshirts)
Began running for pleasure in my mid-20s and went from a 5K to a marathon in eight hot, sweaty months in Austin, Texas.  That is when I really caught the running "bug" and it became part of my life.  I moved to Colorado permanently in the summer of 2013 though began running with Revolution Running in the winter of 2012.  Previously in Austin, TX I had done some light running coaching and led track workout sessions to build community and give back to the sport which has given so much to me.

I am still active in race production and volunteerism in both Colorado and Texas as often as possible.  I also work in a local specialty running store which provides me access to some great coaching advice and experience that I can hopefully pass on to others.  I love meeting and working with new runners because I still remember so many positive experiences I had as a new runner and what that has meant to me on this journey of life!

PRs:  Mile 5:12; 5K 19:15; 10K 40:09; 1/2 Marathon 1:30; Marathon 3:21

Bridget Leigh

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Bridget ran track in high school. She was a sprinter and a hurdler and lettered in both events. She started running more competitively when she moved to Miami shortly after college, running in every local race possible. She has raced in over 20 races, including triathlons.

Every distance race is her favorite, and she strongly believes that racing should be fun! Bridget also believes that running with a group makes you more accountable. "There will be days when you pull others, and days when others pull you."

Personal Bests: 26.2 - 3:47:10, 13.1 - 1:44:50, 10K - 45:13, 5k - 21:20
